When my friend first told me of these, I thought she was crazy (sorry, Leslie, but they did not sound that appetizing at first). Since then, with a few tweaks, this recipe has become a favorite in our house. Gluten free, paleo and kid friendly!

Beautiful and tasty, candied lemons are a delectable garnish for all sorts of desserts. You can also eat them on their own or dipped in chocolate. Recently, I made some as a topper for my gluten free lemon filled cupcakes.
(We also ate it as a sauce on chicken, a topping to eggs and pretty much anything we could put it on.)
